We are grateful to our Guide leaders, Deborah and Karen, for this account of the Guides and Brownies fund raising efforts for the ‘Guidelands’ campsite.

Deborah says:

We were challenged by the Guidelands Committee to raise money, using ‘seed monies’ of £10 per unit to at least double that, to assist with raising funds for a replacement large hut at the Walderslade campsite.

We raised £46.20 by selling coffee, teas & cakes to parents, members of the Corps and Guiding friends. The Brownies and Guides spent the afternoon making and decorating cakes before selling them!
