To mis-quote a line from the carol ‘O little town of Bethlehem’ most ‘little towns’ (and big ones too) are familiar with Salvation Army bands playing Christmas carols under whatever street lights are available. Chatham is no exception, although our carolling programme today features many more indoor venues and shopping centres than in earlier years.
