Yesterday evening (Monday 8th January) saw our first Ladies Fellowship meeting of 2007. We have received this brief report on the evening from the fellowship’s website correspondent, Jean Jones.
The January meeting of the Ladies Fellowship was just a small gathering but generated lots of fun when we tried answering the quizmaster’s questions. Unfortunately the sweets on the tables didn’t give us inspiration but probably put on more inches after our Christmas festivities.
The next meeting on February 12 will be a lively affair as, for the first time, we are to spend an evening Line Dancing. Everybody is invited to bring a friend and there will be a small charge of £2 per person. The evening will start at 7.30pm.
On March 12th, an antiques expert, David Sandon, will be coming to talk to us about antiques, more specifically about porcelain or ceramics, and he will gladly advise on any item which people care to bring along.
Thanks Jean. As we said, it was brief (but most of the best reports are!). More information about the Ladies Fellowship can be found on its own page (click here). If you live near enough why not make a date in your diary for 12 February.
