The speaker this month at Chatham Ladies Fellowship meeting was sub-editor of Salvationist, Claire Anderson, who happens to be a member of Chatham Corps.
Ladies Fellowship members were very interested to learn about Claire’s work and at her instigation tried their hands at ‘story-telling’ much to their amusement. There was an active question and answer session and those of the group who were not Salvationists were able to take home with them a sample copy of this excellent publication.
Claire’s benediction gave an insight into the way Jesus told stories when He was on earth and especially she mentioned the use of the boy’s loaves and fishes to feed the 5,000. If Jesus can use this small boy’s meal, then he can surely use our stories to let people know about Him and His saving work.
