Focusing this year on the Trinity. ‘Words of Life’ now centres on God the Father.

We explore the powerful Old Testament books of Joshua and Samuel, observe Ezra’s discerning leadership, and seek insight from the sufferings of Job. In the New Testament we look at Matthew, the opening chapters of John’s Gospel, and the Acts of the Apostles. Our guest writer Commissioner Lalkiamlova leads us into Pentecost.

This special edition of  ‘Words of Life’ covers the period of the International Congress, marking The Salvation Army’s 150 years of ministry. May God the Father speak to us in a new and majestic way during this wonderful time of celebration and renewed commitment to him.  

The writer of ‘Words of Life’ is Major Beverly Ivany. She holds BAs in English and Music and an MA in Theological Studies. She is also an accomplished musician. Beverly and her husband David have served various appointments with The Salvation Army in their homeland, Canada. Beverly is the author of ‘Kid Talk’, ‘Teen Talk’ and ‘Mentorship’.
