THE 4TH MEDWAY (SALVATION ARMY) SCOUT GROUP
The 4th Medway (Salvation Army) Scout Group is an independent educational charity sponsored by The Salvation Army at Chatham Citadel. The Group is co-educational, open to everyone and has been providing quality Scouting to the young people of Medway since 1938.
The Group is run in accordance with the regulations laid down by the Scout Association and the Christian principles of The Salvation Army. The activities run for the young people are many and varied and a better flavour of what we do and what we are about can be found by visiting our own web site at www.fourth.org.uk where our activities and policies are fully laid out.
The Group meets each Monday in school term time:
- Beaver Scouts meet from 6pm – 7.15pm for 6 – 8 year olds.
- Cub Scouts meet from 6pm – 7.15pm for 8 – 10.5 year olds.
- Scouts meet at 7.30pm – 9pm for 10.5 – 14 year olds
- Explorer Scouts meet at 7.30pm – 9pm for 14 – 18 years
The leaders are all trained volunteers who have been vetted by the Scout Association and The Salvation Army.
