Reports were received from all members with the exception of the Armada Spasy leaders.

The Corps Secretary – resources leader was unable to attend due to last minute family health issues.

There was no representation from Armada Spasy.

Main items discussed:

Known Fit for Mission changes were discussed – to be communicated as they come into effect.

First Year cadets will attend Chatham for training on various Sundays in the first 6 months of 2016.

2016 diary is available on the Corps website – additional dates to be agreed via Corps Secretary.

In the absence of the CS, finances were only briefly discussed. There are pressures, with mortgage expected to commence soon and income dropping. Renewal Give to Grow is being arranged.

Possible projects to increase community involvement and generate income are being considered and a Business plan will be produced if further investigation suggests this is worth considering.

A friendship programme is being developed by Major Karen to ensure contact is maintained and support given to all members of the congregation.

A few key points from reports from Mission Forum members are as follows:

Contacts with the community and income from High Street War Cry sales have been very positive.

We are still trying to obtain THQ support with improving energy efficiency and generating income from solar panel feed-in tariff. This will be aggressively pursued.

A Mission Development Plan which accurately reflects Chatham Corps and its mission objectives is being finalized and will be essential during changes anticipated in 2016.

Children from a Roma background are become involved in Sunday worship and Singing Company – a good and natural development towards integration. Some children are struggling to attend as they lack transport. Offers of assistance are being sought.

The One2one & 50+ programmes are operating effectively additional advisers would be welcome.

The discipleship group will continue the One Army course, hold hot potato events and discuss Give to grow in 2016.
