    This was the name given to the Pentecost witness enacted in Chatham last Saturday. Having assembled at The Salvation Army building in Church Street the parade marched through the main shopping area (High Street) led by a group of Bandsmen, stopping at times to sing, pray and engage with the shoppers.     This was the theme for the weekend when Chatham Songsters, under the leadership of Carolynn Woodman, visited Stowmarket Corps last weekend.

  • Band Reunion Tea and Concert

    The Band‘s 135th anniversary proved to be a very enjoyable and worthwhile weekend beginning with a reunion tea on Saturday afternoon which was attended by a good number of former Chatham bandsmen and, in some cases, their families.

  • Jersey – a pre-visit concert

    As regular readers of this website will know, the Band is visiting Jersey (Channel Islands) for the weekend of the 6th to the 9th of May. On Tuesday it gave up its regular practice evening to delight supporters with a concert, given in a very relaxed atmosphere, featuring some of the music to be used.
