Major Alec Still has this week presented a cheque to Martyn Reeves, head of the Friends of the Wisdom Hospice, in the sum of £330 representing the collection from the Community Carol Concert held earlier in December. Martyn (left) is pictured with Major Alec and Murray Smith, husband of the late Verna Smith, who was able to hand over donations to the value of £535 given in the memory of Verna.

 

The family of Verna wish to thank all those who have donated so generously. It is hoped that the money will be used in the refurbishment of the Day Hospice, possibly in funding one of the new specialist recliner chairs which will be needed.
